Mold and mycotoxin remediation across Indiana
Local crews from our Avon office, from the Indianapolis suburbs to Fort Wayne, South Bend and Evansville.
Where do you work in Indiana?
We serve homes and businesses across Indiana from our office in Avon, west of Indianapolis. Most of our work is in the Indianapolis metro and surrounding counties, and we regularly travel to Fort Wayne, South Bend, Evansville, Bloomington, Lafayette and other Indiana cities for testing and remediation projects. If your city isn't listed below, call us. We likely still serve it.
Mold in Indiana homes: what we see
Indiana's humid summers, freeze-thaw winters and heavy spring rains make basements, crawlspaces and attics the most common trouble spots we find. Many homes sit on clay-heavy soil that holds water against foundation walls, and a failed sump pump or clogged gutter is often where a mold problem starts.
Indiana doesn't license mold remediators, so anyone can advertise mold removal. We hold IICRC, CMR, CRMI and CCMI credentials anyway, and we test before and after every job so you have proof the work was done.

Why Indiana homes get moldy
Indiana gets plenty of rain in spring, humid summers and winters cold enough to freeze and thaw the ground many times over. Each of those puts water somewhere it shouldn’t be. Spring storms test sump pumps and gutters. Summer humidity condenses on cool basement walls and ductwork. Winter brings ice dams and attic condensation when warm, moist air leaks up from the living space.
Construction matters too. Many Indiana homes have basements or crawlspaces, and plenty of older homes have little or no vapor barrier. Newer homes are built tighter, which saves energy but also traps moisture unless ventilation keeps up.
Choosing a mold company in a state without a license
Because Indiana doesn’t license mold remediators or inspectors, the credentials a company chooses to hold, and whether it tests its own work, are the best signals you have. Ask any company you’re considering what testing they do before and after, whether they test for mycotoxins, and whether the clearance test is part of the price. Our guide to choosing a mold remediator has a full list of questions.
How we work across the state
Every Indiana project is run from our office in Avon. Testing comes first, and results come back from the lab in 24 to 48 hours. You get a written scope before work begins, the remediation follows the AME Clearance Method, and clearance testing confirms the result. For projects farther from Indianapolis, we schedule the work so crews can finish efficiently and keep travel on the written scope.
Indiana questions
Have a question that isn't here? Call a specialist
Do you charge extra to travel outside Indianapolis?
Travel is part of the written scope we give you after testing, so you see it before any work begins. Ask when you call and we'll tell you what applies to your location.
Does Indiana require a license for mold remediation?
No. Indiana doesn't license mold remediators or inspectors. That makes credentials and independent testing more important. We hold IICRC, CMR, CRMI and CCMI credentials and test before and after every job.
How quickly can you get to my Indiana home?
It depends on your location and our schedule that week. Call us and we'll give you the earliest time we can be there.
We're done when the lab says so.
Every remediation ends with clearance testing, and our work is backed by a complete-removal guarantee. We don't close a job on a failed result.
